The VSM4 Probe - The heart of our magnetometer systems
VALLON is expanding its magnetometer modular system with a new generation of probes. The VSM4 probe is a high-precision measuring instrument that forms the core of various detection systems – from single-channel magnetometers to complex multi-channel arrays. In addition to conventional explosive ordnance disposal, the new technology also opens up new markets in archaeology and geophysics.
The VSM4 and VSM4plus probes set new standards with their technical features: the VSM4 (±)20,000 nT) and VSM4plus (±)300,000 nT) have an extremely large compensation range and are still ideally suited for demanding search tasks with the smallest signal characteristics. The modern tension band technology ensures long-term measurement accuracy without recalibration. Full compatibility with existing systems makes it easy to integrate the new probe.
