VALLON Workshop ASIA, Siem Reap, Cambodia 25-27 April, 2023

An important step for VALLON: The first VALLON Workshop ASIA on "Powerful Solutions for UXO and Mine Detection" took place in Siem Reap, Cambodia from April 25 - 27.

The workshop was organized in close cooperation with the Cambodian Mine Action and Victim Assistance Authority (C.M.A.A). More than 50 participants, mostly from ASEAN countries (Indonesia, Cambodia, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Vietnam and others), came to Siem Reap, Cambodia to learn about the latest VALLON metal detectors. The interest in our detectors - especially the latest generation - was very high. After all, these once again raise the bar in terms of functionality, quality, robustness and reliability.

In addition, the workshop provided the participants with the ideal platform for in-depth discussions and lively exchanges about current projects in the field of humanitarian demining and explosive ordnance disposal.

A big thank you also goes to the experts from Cambodian Self Help Demining (CSHD), Thailand Mine Action Center (TMAC) and National Centre of Peacekeeping Forces (NPMEC) who enriched the workshop with their informative and valuable presentations.
