Metal detection in “non-cooperative” soils

The VALLON development team supports the University of Zagreb’s METASHAPE project. Its focus is metal detection in difficult soils with the aim of finding affordable detection solutions for humanitarian demining.

The METASHAPE project is a supplement to the ongoing PERUN project, which involves metal detection in non-cooperative soils. Practical implications for humanitarian demining are now being derived from the theoretical knowledge previously acquired. Both projects are funded by the Find A Better Way foundation.
