NDM-UN25: 25th International Meeting of Mine Action National Directors and United Nations Advisers / Geneva, 23. – 24.06.2022
This year VALLON again participated at the 25rd International Meeting of National Mine Action Programme Directors and UN Advisors (NDM-UN) in Geneva, Switzerland.
The 25rd meeting served to discuss emerging issues and to exchange best practices among governmental, commercial and humanitarian organizations. An important topic are the challenges of humanitarian demining. Besides the actual detection of threats, demining organizations have to deal with much more – victim assistance, support of affected communities, the environmental impact of demining activities and with highly relevant topics such as diversity and inclusion in mine action.
